cjc celebrated national day on friday which was quite fun to a certain extent. went to run in the morning with jas first before meeting up with the entire j1 and j2 exco for a meeting. haha! it was the first time i can actually blow a balloon without a pump or something else. haha! i know you are laughing! xD so all classes blew balloons to form a huge singapore flag which was quite impressive. the work to tie the balloons to the net was quite tough. a lot of coordination and team work was needed. =) and so after that, went back to class and watched some videos by students and the national day songs music videos and sang to them. haha so quite ok lah.

after the entire celebration which was nothing much, just watch the large flag being brought up by the odac people, and sang to five star arising which is the theme for this year's national day celebration in cjc. then after everything was over, went for sort of a bowling outing. actually wasnt really a bowling outing and was more like an outing with T16. but was fun time lah since i know most of them from there.. haha! cause there were 6 bowlers from there so thus follow their class lor. xD went to eat billy bombers and had a hard time eating and cutting the chicken xD then after that just loitered around and nothing much lah.. just went home after that already.. lol..

hello.. finally going to blog about something today.. haha! going to talk about what i did during the holidays and after my holidays..

4D class gathering!

once again 4D class gathering at nicholas liaw's house! =) havent seen them for a long time! feels good to be able to see them again.. and especially my friend is going to leave singapore to study overseas for about 10 months i think.. so yup we're all going to miss him.. and the bbq was great! =) like the second bbq of the month.. haha.. the day was fun lah.. laughing, chatting and joking out loud with them again! =)

and finally my class first gathering in a very long time.. a BBQ gathering at last at my place! it was quite ok.. even though we failed at managing our time and cooking the food and setting up the fire.. haha.. was quite a mess lah but i think we still had a bit of fun.. like we never come together before so it's the first time ya.. well nothing much to say.. well let the pictures say the rest..

and the next day went to timothy's house.. suppose to meet kingman at serangoon macs at 8am first but was late for close to half an hour! sorry kingman! really couldnt get out of bed.. then ate usual sasuage mcmuffin savers meal, then took 156 direct to tim's house.. kingman slept on the bus while i watched tv mobile all the way.. haha! then reached tim's house.. everyone was awoke already.. cause 4 people stayed overnight.. sadly i didnt cause of the class bbq on the previous day.. sigh.. oh well.. then went there, "studied".. actually quite a bit lah..then we actually baked a cheese cake! haha! was quite ok lah.. not too bad =) then cooked our own lunch which was not bad too! =) then continued studying.. then some dancing later on with the music.. haha was damn hilarious lah! cannot explain in words.. i dont have the videos with me though.. that's about all i guess..

back to school..

then now back to school.. had exams last week and felt ok about it.. prepared to fail some.. xD only gotten 2 subjects back. i got a subpass for GP! woohoo! i thought i would fail! Thank God! and i got C for physics!! =) i reached my target! was quite happy for that as well.. but actually i was already expecting to pass.. it's just about how well i will do only.. but a C is still not bad leh.. haha! then still waiting for the rest.. i dont think i will do well for maths and for chem, i think i wont do as well as normal.. chinese, just hoping for an E xD then econs, maybe D? lol..

i miss bowling! i miss cca! i miss training! why havent the election for exco members start yet?? all the bowlers are like so eager to go back for training and bowl together again! argh this just sucks.. and it's not like i can go bowl with them often cause most of them stay in the west area.. sigh.. but anyway, hope the election will start soon and cca can go on as usual.. =)

and on the other side of my life, i felt very sian.. and like there's a lot of things in my mind.. and i especially think too much over many things especially simple things.. which really sucks.. and i really hate it.. but i'm glad there are people in my life, who are able to allow me to get a grip of myself, constantly listening to me and encouraging me and showing lots of support! i really thank you guys! very appreciated! =)

my 17th birthday!

well i took very long to blog about this.. but oh well here it is! well i will first talk about my birthday! haha i enjoyed my birthday very much in cjc! thanks to my class! woohoo! you guys rock man! =) all the singing and shoutings! haha! so much fun! they even sang during maths lecture at LT1 lah when it is full house! xD damn pai sei lah but it was fun though.. xD i'm also very grateful with all the friends i have in cjc. since the start of the day, i had soooo many friends coming to wish my happy birthday! had a card from my class with all the wishes as well. haha thanks for all the messages! xD some are nonsense lah xD and also i want to thank my friend dorothea for writing me a card as well! even though it's rush but it's still very nice! well i appreciate it very much! =) i am so glad i came into cjc.. my life has been so much brighter ever since..

bowling chalet!

another wonderful time that passed was the bowling chalet! argh i missed it so much! having withdrawal symptoms now.. so much experience and fun and laughter from it! so it seems that all the planning with jasmine was successful! =) and the gifts that dorothea, jasmine and i made were great as well! it seems that they appreciated it! that's good! the 3 day 2 nights passed so quickly.. bbq was really fun and great! so much delicious food! i want to express all my appreciation to jasmine as well! for preparing all the food and breakfast and everything! wow she is just amazing lah! =) anyway, played lots of bowling, pool, fools ball and air hockey. it's really damn fun! bonded very well with all the bowlers! really a very good time of fun together! oh yes.. and lots and lots of mahjong as well! woohoo! =) played so much of that.. it's like a caffeine to me lah.. xD well the rest of the pictures will say everything.. =)

the last 2 days were disastrous! i dont want to talk about them anymore.. but i will work even harder cause we are going to be seeded next year!! woohoo! that means we improved! woohoo! CJ guy's team 6th and girl's team 8th! awesome man! =D so nothing much.. had a lot of fun and the experience was wonderful! and the CJ spirit was amazing too! just simply love it! and have tons of pictures. well since pictures speaks a million words.. i will just stop here! i can finally go on with my normal life! =)

bowling nationals -day 2

i will start with my the result for A division.. it was doubles event and my partner elton and i were damn high! haha! but it didnt start off very well with my ball refusing to hook!! it just went straight.. until the coach came to help and my ball is hooking to the pocket! woohoo! and so i didnt really reach a high score but was more consistent this time. well did my best can already! =) 2 more days to go! quartets! bowling beside river valley high school (girls). lol.. and on the left is MI. xD so we will see what happens tomorrow..

IG 13 outing to sentosa!!!
woohoo! it's finally our second IG outing! i really had so much fun! havent gone to sentosa in a really long time as well.. woohoo and it was really a very fruitful time last friday! played frisbee! volleyball! went into the water and lots of camwhoring! ahaha! the happiness was really indescribable! hope that we can have more outings and hopefully during this june holidays! =) IG 13 really rocks my life!

bowling with church friends!
this sunday wanted to go occ to bowl to try out the lanes with my new polished ball. every since it was polished on saturday, my ball doesnt hook! i was like super angry! and somemore both my coaches instructed me to go and get it polished! sigh but on sunday, i then realised that it was all my fault. it was because i didnt remove my thumb out first before i release the ball. so for now, i can only force out my thumb be squeezing against the thumb hole for it to slide out, then my ball will be able to hook. but it isnt hooking a lot as it used to be. but oh well.. i will make sure after competition, i will perfect it and be able to release the thumb out properly and to acquire maximum hook! but apart from that, it was fun playing bowling with my church friends! so damn funny and lots of laughter! xD

woohoo! the A division is finally here! what we have all been waiting for and training very hard for! it is finally the time where i can put my skills to the test! well overall i have to say that, i did much better than i expected! =D i was able to do nice pockets and brooklyns and ending up with strikes! however my spares werent very good today. it was really a great experience! met new friends, the team and fighting spirit is just awesome! the atmosphere is wonderful too! i have to make sure i keep this consistent for the next 3 days and to stay calm and cool. so tomorrow will be the doubles event! my bowling partner is elton and hopefully tomorrow we will perform our best and achieve a high score together! =) so that's about all for now.. and just 2 pictures i am able to get for now but more will be uploaded later on..

good friday musical
i think the good friday musical was well done! everyone put in their best effort and i really Thank God for this opportunity for me to serve him again and for the time management that i must have during that period of time. thanks to timothy, kingman, xing hao, karissa and melody who came and watched the musical! i had a great experience during this musical and made more friends and really had loads of fun!

first gpp discussion meeting
the first meeting wasnt really good i think. we took a very long time just to finish what we wanted to do. i really hope that as time goes, our PW progress will improve and that we can really be focused on it, work together as a team to complete the task. for the sake of our A levels!

what's going to happen from now
well now, training very hard for the bowling A divisions. only about 3 months of training so i dont expect myself to be the best or something but i really hope to be at least somewhere in the ranking. i just hope i will do my best and now screw up anything. apart from that, quite messed up with school work, falling back in some work but i hope across the weekend i will be able to catch up everything as for the next 2 weeks i will be missing 4 days of school due to competitions. i hope that i will have proper time management and be able to catch up with the tutorials and lectures that i will be missing. sigh.. JC life is tough.

wah so long never blogged.. really getting quite tired of this and cause i have hardly anytime to blog. but ok i will talk a bit.. having lots of fun in school as normal! mass pe!! woohoo!! then cca!! finally got the feel of hooking and my ball is finally able to hook! now just need to improve on it. and holidays are finally here! woohoo! but they arent for play ya.. got to catch up with all my work. and there are so many activities and also i got an economics projecct! argh.. and 4 days of bowling training!! =.= oh well but i do enjoy bowling.. the only troublesome issue is that it is at bukit batok! on the other end of the world lah wah lao... sigh. oh well..

oh and i finally finished my theory exam today!! woohoo! it was much more manageable than the other one i took lah! woohoo i hope i can pass! i need to pass so that i dont waste the money and can finally say i finished grade 8!! then now left my practical exam at the end of this month.. it is coming really soon and i think i am still no where near to a credit standard. i need to work harder!! i also think that i have to pull out from the musical! argh!! i want to be part of it but sigh.. school workload is building up on me exponentially.. so yea i guess i have to leave then.. =(

so yup i blogged! haha! so now just have to hope for a great holiday week ahead! woohoo!

woohoo! rockafella on friday was awesome!! it was just so damn fun and so happening! so much shouting, screaming and cheering! the atmosphere was amazing! many performances and i thought they were rather good and can see that a lot of effort was put into it. good job guys! was really an awesome night.. woohoo! woohoo! school is still as great as ever! my class is getting damn awesome and crazy! with many people who have laughing gas! xD our IG just gets better and better everyday! woohoo! so many things that happened throughout the week that i cant really recall everything, but i will talk about what happened today! =)

ok today was a super long day and i only ended at 5pm. celebrated 2 people's birthday today! shawn (class) and natahsha (IG)! had super lots of fun today! oh and before that, i wanted to say that GP lesson today is BORING!! oh my goodness.. the comprehension was tough too! almost every question asks you to write out in your own words.. so sian man. ok back to the birthday stuffs.. celebrated shawn's birthday first at the canteen during our break time. jin yong bought a very nice black forest cake from cake history at toa payoh. and it was so good and it was quite sad that they wasted some of it for.. you know.. slamming it on faces! xD and it really did happen! and after PE, we carried shawn out to the quadrangle and TAUPOK!!! haha! then after that, carried him by hand and leg to the.. POND! haha ya you guessed it.. tossed him in! woohoo! i bet the fishes will die due to all the urea that is now inside the pond! xD but oh well.. i think that will be an experience that he will keep for celebrating his birthday in CJC! xD

so moving on to natasha's birthday celebration! managed to get majority of our IG people to meet up at around 5pm to celebrate at the canteen as well. it was really a big bang! sang the birthday song really loud and shouted a lot.. then same thing happened, slamming the cake at the face! haha! it was marcus's doing! xD then natasha went around and getting cakes on everyone! it was so funny and fun lor. haha.. yea but we never threw her into the pond or taupok her for obvious reasons.. we were all so worried and scared that later her bones break or something. lol! but anyway it was fun. then we got a frisbee for her and it was bought by xing hao! woohoo! and we wrote all our wishes on it and played frisbee with it! it was fun man. ultimate frisbee~~

then went for dinner at toa payoh again.. this time ate at the fork and spoon food court and had a fun time talking and chatting. time really flies fast when we are together as an IG! xD so yup that's about all..

oh yes forgot to mention this! MASS PE!! OH MY!! it was crazy! i think i will have numerous aches and pains tomorrow! i already got a feeling that i wont be able to lift my bowling ball tomorrow! =S that really sucks.. but oh well.. we ran 7 laps around a perimeter in the school as it was raining, then went for fitness conditioning at the auditorium extension and the teacher leading us was really crazy man! he shouts loud and really makes us respond to it. at the end of 1 hour, all the guys came out sweating like mad as if we just came out of a swimming pool while the girls were like so dry! argh! girls just dont know what sufferings we have! but oh well.. i think it is going to be something good in the future.

woohoo! one week of school has passed and i am really enjoying it to the fullest! man jc life rocks! so much fun and life in it! CJC is the best man! my class is getting along really well and that's really great! more great friends will be bonded together! also had many regular IG gatherings! man i love IG 13! i think we are like one of the most bonded groups! haha! maybe thanks to our facils! xD got a lot closer to them as well! haha they are just so much fun and laugher! =D

and badminton rejected me!!!! =( this is so sian! always wanted to join badminton! i always had the passion for it to play at a competitive level but they say that i had no foundation. sigh.. so annoyed. but at least i got into bowling! the other sport that i will really enjoy. went for trials today and it turned out great! =D first round was 119 and second was 136! was one of my few consistent games! xD so really great that i was chosen and cant wait to finally play bowling at a higher level from leisure bowling! Thank God!

woohoo! orientation was awesome! everything was damn great! finale night was the best too! woohoo! never expected CJC to be so much fun. so now the orientation has finally ended and time to part from our IG. T_T it's so sad.. i miss IG13.. but oh well there's no choice. then my class which is 1T20 has only 5 girls and about 20 guys with 7 marists! sigh.. why so many marists and so many guys.. -.- so sian.. but anyway, i think the class will move on well. i got a feeling that we will be able to bond very well together! =) so that's all.. thanks IG13 for being the craziest and wildest group! haha! all the dragon boat outing! all the cheers we did! all the shouting and screaming! wet and dirty games! haha! it was all awesome! thanks to jasmine and sharidan for being such wonderful facilitators too! and i know you all are reading this now. haha.. so yeap. CJC is great! i have really made the right choice!

IG 13!!

CJC orientation day 1

CJC orientation day 1

woohoo! first day at school! had to wake up at 6.30am.. sigh.. so early! well no more late wake-ups now.. school-ing time! =) wow CJC is kind of great! the orientation was fun! ok but anyway, i will talk about what happened systematically today. so first, bus was a bit late but thank God that i was not late. never liked to be late.. bus ride was quite smooth, no stupid heavy traffics cause i think it was still too early. then when i reach the bus stop. it was wow! so many different students in different uniforms. how cool is that! =D then met up with my friends and went in but soon got split up in the auditorium into our index groups (IG). i am in IG 13! woohoo! and there are 36 IGs. imagine! about 20 people each and the whole J1 have about 890 students! that is a lot! with about half of the J1 coming from affiliated schools. and then the whole auditorium was quite quiet. cause no one really knew anyone. even during morning assembly, no one sang the national song and said the pledge. xD and also something interesting in all my school-ing life, this is the first time that my school's song is in english! haha! all along i have been in a chinese school and now finally a more dominantly english school. so much changes and the school song was quite short too. haha! then after that, attendance check and went for ice breakers. i think our IG leaders are kind of nice and friendly. haha. then got to know quite a lot of people but still having a bit of difficulties remembering the names. xD but was all great. then played some ice breaker games. =) then after that we went back to the auditorium for the principal's talk on subject combination and stuffs. not so boring cause the principal was a bit funny and entertaining as well. haha. brother paul rogers! xD then the talk lasted about 1 hour or so, there was the house presentation. there were 6 houses! that's a lot! my house will be the first one which is athena. haha the skit was quite cool! =) in fact all the skits were interesting. next up, games! two houses including mine had to learn the mass dance first! haha! was quite fun and silly! xD then met my partner for the dance and had quite some fun! =) then moved on to house meeting and break. haha canteen was actually about same size as my secondary school but i dont really complain about that. there was a lot of choices for food! haha! and was quite affordable as well! cant wait to try the rest. then after break went for more games! =) and the day ended and we were dismissed from the auditorium. and one thing that i was happy about, orientation shirt! yay!! =D i am just obsessed with school or organisation related shirts. xD cost $10 and my size is XL! haha! not that i am fat but i think it is just the shirt size lah. xD so yup that's all! met my primary school friends as well and some i couldnt remember and met other friends from other school as well. so overall, i was quite pleased with CJC. i am actually reconsidering to stay here even if my appeal to NYJC worked. sigh.. i knew this would happen, that the orientation will cause me to be more attached to CJC than NYJC. i just hope that God will show me the direction to which place i should settle at. that's all i can do now which is to trust in His will. so that's all! looking forward to tomorrow where there are dirty and wet games! woohoo! =)

ok school is finally starting tomorrow! have to report to CJC by 7.35am. cant wait for it! going to make a lot of new friends! and now to enter a new chapter of my life. however i still appealed for NYJC and i really hope that i can enter that. i rather just cross the road to NYJC than to take the direct bus from my house to CJC. sigh.. but i am very messed up now. i like NYJC but i dont mind CJC. and i am worried that i may grow to be attached to CJC during the orientation because i will only know the result of the appeal by this friday and that should be around half way my CJC orientation. if no response means i will just stay at CJC for the next 2 years but i dont really mind. oh well.. see how it goes tomorrow.. JC here i come!! =D

o level results!! dont think i did quite well.. wasnt what i expected.. 13 points.. sigh. so minus my cca bonus points so that makes 11. i am even short of 1 point for nanyang junior college.. argh!! sian.. i really wonder if i can still go in. and i think i have to just put catholic junior college as my first choice to be safe. cause it is an affiliated school and i get an extra 2 points bonus so in total minus 4. in that way, i can enter safely and assuredly into catholic junior college. but i dont really like it there. and if i put nanyang junior college as second choice, i might not get in even though i appeal. but many people say it is ok to put nanyang junior college as my first choice cause i only miss by 1 point and so there is still a very high chance. but i will lose the extra bonus that i can get if i put catholic junior college as first choice. and if i put nanyang junior college as first choice, i also have a higher chance to appeal and get in. sigh.. such a tough decision.. never expected that it will come to this.. so stressful!! i wish i could just get 12 instead of 13! then i dont think things will be that difficult. oh well.. still in the midst of deciding and i really hope that God will show me the direction and the way for me..

well past few days were great! woohoo! had so much fun! the last week of 2008 was the best! and now 2009 is also here.. cant wait man.. got so many new stuffs awaiting for me.. and some exciting stuffs as well like the o levels results!! argh!! quite worried for it but oh wel..

today celebrated crystal and kenneth fong's birthday. it was also a christmas party so it is a 3 in 1 party. woohoo! the best so far with about 20 people at cheryl's house. really had a lot of fun! another successful event! but behind the scene, all the planning and stuffs were really crazy. i really want to thank priscilla for helping out a lot in the planning as well! =) i also could not have done it all alone. =D thanks priscilla-la-la-la!! xD the food were great too! ivan's a really great cook! haha.. then ya.. it was the best gathering! =)

then saturday.. was another kind of fun day as well! afternoon went to my uncle and aunty's house near east coast. a really nice condominium.. played tennis with my aunty. =) i am starting to feel the strokes of tennis! haha! yay! one more step to becoming a hybrid. and met with my cousins that i havent really met for some time.. we are just still the same lah.. haha! then celebrated my grandmother's birthday and celebrated christmas as well.. haha.. another all in one party.. =)

sunday

well sunday was the same normal day.. went to church.. but woke up late and for the first few times that i entered the sanctuary and service late! argh! hate it! must really wake up early and get to church earlier next time. but i joined catechism class so will be going with my mother to church at around 8am plus again by car. the sign language gave a performance item and i think it was good. haha! sad that i entered while they were performing. sigh.. then ruth came up to sit with me after the performance.. at first i thought i will be sitting alone but haha.. thanks ruth! =) then went for usual lunch.. but this sunday, went to play frisbee! wow i really do miss frisbee! finally got a chance to play now.. and really made me tired like mad.. really lost all my stamina lor.. ran a bit like that also tired.. sigh.. i'm so pathetic.. but it was great even though we trash the other team and we get trashed as well.. haha =) still a great fellowship though! =D

monday

then today.. went for my first theory lesson since the time i stopped my theory lessons. haha.. really forgotten quite a few stuffs.. but i am sure i will be able to get back on track fast! then went to meet my mei! finally i got this chance to meet her! so went all the way up to woodlands. i arrived early and waited first.. then we went to eat first at the food court on the top floor of causeway point. then went to the library and i helped her with a bit of her work. then she read her book and i read my stuffs.. then we started talking and chatting. had quite a lot of fun talking though.. =) got to know each other a lot better.. and at the end of the day, i really did enjoy myself! i really hope she do too! well i think she did too! it was really great.. should meet up more often! =D

then after this, went down to douby ghaut to watch twilight with my friend. twilight was better than i thought. it was quite action-packed.. at first i thought it will be full of romance.. that kind of show that girls will only watch but hey.. it was still ok what.. not bad. =) then went for dinner then home.. so overall, today was great! had a great time!

and finally about today.. my iphone has finally activated and now i can use its full function! woohoo! the iphone is so cool! love it man! =) anyway, went to play badminton at bishan sport complex at 12pm. met daniel on the bus on the way to the complex. played a really good 3 hours of badminton! wow i really gotten a bit rusty but still was ok i guess.. cant really do proper smashes now.. sigh.. but still have the power.. oh well.. i'm sure everyone had a lot of fun.. well i did! then the group split into half and my group went to watch bedtime stories at ang mo kio hub's cathay. the movie was better than i thought as well! haha.. at first the title seems boring cause i had completely no idea what the movie was about. but after watching, i think it is great. 7.5/10. then that's about all lah.. then went to settle a lot of logistics and money stuffs.. these stuffs really driving me crazy.. haha.. very troublesome and so much things to deal with.. oh well..

YF caroling was good. at least i didnt went home early like last year cause i fell sick during the caroling. and joel just kept reminding me that.. stupid.. well caroling this year was more fun cause maybe i know more people now? =) really cool.. went to organisations and houses. wow the houses are really nice! graham and megan's house! started from about 4pm till 12.30am or so! haha.. everyone was really tired by then.. xD well of course we are! singing the whole day! and speaking about singing, it was difficult to sing in such a large group. the were like 2 tempos of the same song running at the same time. xD damn jia lat.. but it was managed lah. so ya that's about all.. nothing much.. and then of course, there are pictures..

woohoo! the christmas outreach musical 2008 was a success! thank God for the huge turn out and that this musical was able to reach out to the people. it was also good that this musical served as a reminder to us and that we are all doing this for the glory of God. the first day was good man! it was the best that we have done! very successful. the second day was i think equally good as well! but whatever it is, there were positive comments for both days! woohoo! all the hard work paid off! thank God for that again! i managed to bring some friends as well! brought along keith, wai hong and wan ling. =D thank you all for coming! and after that, caroling was awesome man! woohoo! my friends enjoyed it very much as well! =) well i'm really glad that they all enjoyed it! thank God for everything!

ok now to blog about my holiday in egypt..

DAY 2

now moving on to day 2. went to see the step pyramid. the first pyramid that was ever built. well as you can see, it shows the foundation of how a pyramid was built. pretty cool eh? it was said to be built for the pharaoh zoser i think.. well the rest of the day was leisure.

DAY 3

woke up super early in the morning! i think it was about 5am plus. took a domestic flight to aswan. it took about an hour i think. quite bored on the plane but at least i got my good buddy iPod with me! =D upon arrival, we went to see the high dam and the unfinished obelisk. and then we went back to the aswan airport and took another domestic flight down to abu simbel. the aircraft was rather miserable.. haha. with a crazy italian pilot.. the flight was only about half an hour so didnt have to endure long.. xD it was VERY hot there! can really feel the scorching sun. cannot take it. but it was rather nice. i couldnt actually believe that i am actually looking at the abu simbel temple! like we only get to see it on television i guess? but this is real man! =D well after about 2 hours there i think, went back to abu simbel airport AGAIN and took the same flight back to aswan. wah 3 flights in a day.. is super sian lor! then made our way to the nile cruise. our cruise was called the nile dolphin cruise. was said to be one of the best. well yea i thought it was not bad. many people even said that it was better than star cruise. xD

DAY 4

ok day 4.. went on this felucca ride which was quite cool. the boat moves depending on the wind. only took it for a while then we transfered to this motor boat. made our way to the nubian village. many interesting things there. we attended their class to have a feel of how education is being taught there, then went to see some nile crocodiles. they were just small ones lah and we can carry them. they actually do have very smooth skin! rather surprised! then went back to the nile cruise by the same way, on a motor boat. in the evening, caught one of the best sunsets! woohoo! i love sunsets and sunrises! =D this one is really beautiful!

DAY 5

in the morning, went to visit the edfu temple on horse carriage. haha.. no doubt that the smell was stinky and unbearable. and our horse is super slow! well it may either be sick, not enough food to eat or that the owner was to harsh on it. i dont know.. but it seems like it was not well treated.. sigh poor thing.. after that, went back to nile cruise and it was going to cross the dam. the process was quite cool! when the cruise was in position, we can actually feel and see that the water level was dropping gradually so that we can cross to the other side of the dam. amazing man! then in the night, went to visit another temple and it is like WOW! it looks so grand and amazing in the night with the lighting condition. =)

DAY 6

actually on this day, nothing much, went to visit more temples.. lol.. and it will come to a point where you will think that everything just looks the same and it just gets boring.. but we also went to see how alabastar was made into pots and stuffs.

DAY 7

oh and today was the fun fun FUN day! it was like i think one of the most exciting days. we went to this place called hurghada. more like the country side of egypt and it is really a nice place. i guess a place more for the rich. we went to stay in this resort and it is very nice! really one of the best that we have stayed in. in the morning, went into the red sea in a glass-bottom boat to see the aquatic life in the red sea. i was actually worried that i might get sea sick but after all, it was still not too bad. kind of enjoyed myself. =) then after lunch, woohoo! this is the best man! went in a jeep to desert safari. the driver was crazy and super fun! he drove the jeep at an average of about 100km/h on the road and off-road! the jeep went bumping and bouncing all over the place! there was no sit belts and hardly anything to hold! haha it was so fun! the adults were like a bit scared i think but the younger ones were like, GO FASTER! xD super cool! and it went on for about one hour.. went to this village, went on a camel ride as well! =D camel are so cool! when they are moving, can really feel that i am the prince of egypt. xD haha! then at night, wow the sky is beautiful! it was filled with stars! it would seems as if there was a wallpaper over us! the stars were bright and in millions! we can even see venus and jupiter! can you imagine that!?!? it is so hard to believe! sadly my camera cannot capture the image of the awesome night sky.. =(

DAY 8

now today, is the best day ever! and it is the best thing that i have done in my life! that is climbing Mt. Sinai!! we woke up at 1.30am and started climbing at about 2am i guess. feel a bit sleepy but the climb was surely keep us awake! at first, everyone thought that it will be very cold while climbing. but trust me, it was hot! we even started sweating. very unbearable especially when we have so many layers of clothing. some of them took the camel instead and only 4 of us climbed on foot. haha so at least we can say that, i climbed Mt. Sinai on FOOT!! xD the whole experience was really good. and as we climbed, the smell of passing camels was very disgusting! when we are desperately grasping for air, a camel walked pass and all the foul smell get into our nose. it is so disgusting!! yucks! but after getting to the summit after 3 hours, it was all worthwhile! the sunrise was amazing and beautiful. we all felt this sense of accomplishment to have climbed the mountain. especially for me as a christian, it is really very meaningful to me and it is indeed a very holy place. it is the place where Moses and Jesus climbed. i really feel very proud of myself.

DAY 9 till the rest
ok now there is nothing much from here on till the end of the tour already. just that after mt. sinai, we went to alexandria and it was a really nice place. the place had more of a european street feeling. it was also just beside the mediterranean sea. there were also beautiful sunsets! very wow! and then went back to cairo on the last day and that marks the end of the tour and my holiday in egypt. this holiday was really one of the best! i didnt expect egypt to be such a nice place. there is so many stuff in egypt even though it is a typical "less developed country". but it is cool man! i really love this trip a lot and had a lot of fun. especially the friends that i made during this trip! =D

back from YF camp!

i'm back from YF camp! really a great experience, especially when it is my first time in this camp.. learnt a lot of things! enjoyed all the messages, workshops and games! workshops were really great, the purpose behind it were all very meaningful. made a lot of new friends as well! from workshop group, games group and dormitory. i am also very glad to have a good carer! lynette! and my caree is april. night games were quite ok.. but torture chamber was freaky lah! havent screamed for such a long time! david's idea is really very horrible lah.. and on the last night, played captain's ball and frisbee almost the whole night! didnt slept at all! and some people like ruth and gloria say that they are not going to sleep. but guess what! the next thing you see is that they just knock out! xD also played the piano and the percussion! wow i didnt know that percussion was so easy and fun to play! we tried very hard to combine the percussion and piano to play what i've done by linkin park. really tough.. so overall.. i enjoyed this camp! and when i got home on that day, slept at 5pm till the next morning at 8am! slept for 15 hours! oh my goodness.. i even skipped dinner.. really worn out.. then got a bit sick also.. felt like i was going to have a fever. but after sleeping, felt a lot better, just that all that was left was headaches.. argh.. many other people have gotten sick as well.. will pray that they get well soon!

so for now.. working very hard for the upcoming outreach musical.. must make sure that it will become a successful one!

day 1 of egypt

EGYPT - DAY 1

ok now i shall started blogging about my holiday in egypt. it was no doubt great! initially, the impression of egypt that i got was, oh it is just another middle east country, a normal less developed country, not a really nice country. but after this tour, i found out that egypt actually has a load of cool stuffs! firstly, talk about its super ancient history. other countries like maybe the european countries, history does exist but usually only dates back to 1800s or so. but in egypt, it dates back to B.C.! so much history has been established even before Jesus Christ was born. amazing! there are no doubt a lot of monuments, temples and pyramids. so many until one point where you will kind of get sick of looking at them cause they all look almost the same. haha!

so day 1! well at least the itinerary did not say like "day 1 - fly to cairo" and that will be the end of day 1. haha. well day 1 started with a lot of activities in fact.. it was possible cause we flew off at 2am from singapore and arrive in cairo at around 6am! haha.. upon arrival, we thought that the guy who followed us from singapore was our tour guide. however, it appears that he was just in charge of logistics and we had a local tour guide instead. so the logistics guide was winston and our local tour guide was safwat. we then went to see the great pyramids of giza and the sphinx. wow they are really awesome! cannot really imagine that it was all handmade by millions of stones by millions of people during the ancient times where technology was unknown. it was really impressive! and it stood still for over 4000 years! truly one of the seven wonders of the world!

oh and one more thing, people may think that egypt is a super hot place with the scorching sun burning our skins but no! egypt is rather cooling! in fact, i have to admit that egypt is much cooler than singapore! even egypt have strong winds, can reach lower than singapore's minimum temperature. maybe also because that it was not the summer. summer will be terrible! highest temperature can be 50 degrees celsius and lowest 0 degrees celsius. crazy man.. cannot survive in that kind of environment. so it brings my conclusion that singapore is just humid and the air is moist, that is the only problem. otherwise singapore will be a very cool place. ok moving on, of course when you are in egypt, and in the desert, there are.. camels! haha! they are quite cool and cute! i'm also starting to think that camels are better than horses somehow.. xD we even entered one of the pyramids and had to climb about 500 steps. it was quite ok. no kick! xD but the only hard thing is that we have to bend down to climb diagonally as the ceilings are like just 50cm high? i wonder why it was so low, must it be that people in the past were really that tall? that cant be.. and imagine how they transport the pharaoh's body up through this small passage.

there were 3 people in the area. all 3 have already shrunk in height. later on, we took the bus up to this place called the panorama. it was sort of a look out post where we can see all the 3 pyramids in line. quite spectacular!

alright, next up! the sphinx. was really like those that i have seen in the movie or television shows. i never thought that i would actually see the sphinx and pyramids in front of my own eyes! it's like WOW! haha..

oh and lunch, it was really different! egyptian food has really a completely different taste. i dont really quite like it actually. a very different culture indeed. no wonder safwat told us many times on the bus before we get down saying that it is a different culture, different style, new experience.. haha! and then we also went to see papyrus making. papyrus is the first paper in the world! how cool is that man! so paper actually originated from egypt! the process to making it is rather interesting and of course tedious. it require days to complete. but the result is beautiful! then after that, dinner.. same thing.. different! everything is different! haha. then went to check in at our first hotel! it was nice! 4 or 5 stars. haha. didnt expect a hotel like that to be in egypt. =P but it was nice.. so yup that concludes day 1. a lot more stories coming up!

woohoo! it's finally over! my O LEVELS ARE DONE!!! wah today was so shiok man.. just a one hour paper.. and that's all! then went to chayadi's house to party!! woohoo! it was so fun.. spend the entire day there.. only got home at 11pm.. partly was thanks to andre's dad who fetched me home.. was rather pai sei.. caused he fetch me for quite a few times already. haha.

it just felt like all the burden had just all been lost in an instance.. there was no need to worry about exams, studies or tests anymore.. at least for the time being. we dont need to follow the usual schedule of mugging. we dont need to worry about the "what ifs" if we do not study and so on.. it is just pure freedom! we had the luxury of time to do anything we want! it is just so cool!

i can finally go back to my other schedules. like.. YF!! on saturdays!! frisbee on sunday evenings!! and i think i will be joining choir soon so that will occupy my sunday afternoon. it was just so cool.. i dont have to worry anymore about what to study and what i need to accomplish.. i can finally do whatever i want.

however, i still have to focus on my grade 8 piano and theory as i will be having an exam for both early next year.. sigh.. have to really put in a lot of effort if i want to get at least a credit for my practical and a PASS for my theory. haha. it aint easy..

so as for now.. i will just enjoy all i can but also do meaningful things at the same time.. i dont want to create a "no life" life during this holiday.

phew.. one week of o levels is gone!! 7 papers are done! now 8 more to go across the next 3 weeks.. argh they really know how to drag.. the papers were really so much easier and better than the school papers.. argh.. this shows that school papers kill you and you own the o level papers.. lol. even for my geography.. i was so damn worried and nervous. my humanity subjects are usually very weak. but i was glad that i could manage and do the o level geog paper.. phew.. thank God. but i am still very scared for english. not that i cant do the paper. but.. it is JUST english.. what happens if i screw that up? it is going to be so detrimental.. maths was still ok. i think i made quite a few careless mistakes in my e maths paper 1!! argh!! irritating!! well it's all in His hands now.. we just have to leave it to him for now.. now i can just take a little break. next paper will be next wednesday to friday. physics.. e maths paper 2.. biology... go quite some time to study them so.. i will start soon!

the last day of school..

the last day of school.. after 4 years in maris stella high.. really is just a blink of the eye... today.. our last morning assembly.. the last hall assembly.. the last time we have lessons in class.. everything is just for the last time. it just feels nostalgic.. i can remember when we stepped into this school in secondary 1. haha. i am actually laughing at myself now. i hated the school.. i wished that i could have gone to somewhere else.. but it all turned out to be the kind of second home to me. a place of fun and laughter, where friendship bonds that does not break. my experience here was really a rather wonderful time. having to know so many good friends, the teachers.. everything! i really am going to miss my friends.. how much laughters and shoutings that we did in class.. haha.. just crazy.. the marist family.. the teachers.. they have done so much for us. all of them have such high hopes for me and i really do not want to let them down. i will prove to them that all the years of hard work are not thrown straight into the drain. i really appreciate for all their hard work, tolerance for our class.. xD never forgetting the past 4 years..

ok so for now.. focus on what's important. i will do my best and trust in the lord. with the support of so many of my friends, family and teachers, i know then i can do well. i will not give up. i will shine..

so these few days have been like no life.. lol. studying everyday.. i just have to endure for about 1 month and finally.. freedom! cant wait for o levels to finish! got so many things to do!

so stupid.. i got A1 for my chinese prelim 2. what the crap.. why cant i get it for o level and only get it now.. -.- never mind.. will make sure i get that A for o levels.. my second attempt.

phew.. the past days since the end of my prelims were quite slack and relaxed. haha. ok let's start with friday. it was only a 1h paper 1. then went off with classmates to play bowling first at hougang superbowl before going back to school at about 1pm just to check our cca records. i got A1! 25 points! just touched the A1 mark! =D already happy with it.. so dont really want to bother getting more points. next up was going to be barberque at ruth's place, so went straight home and made all the fast preparations before going to chua chu kang to meet up with crystal and priscilla. was really rush. crystal and i made priscilla waited for about more than half an hour.. sorry pris! then went to shop for clothes and i was feeling very AWKWARD!!! =.= especially when i paid for the clothes.. lol.. then went back to their place to get ready all the stuff. helped to prepare a bit of the food and transported the stuff to the pit to and fro and so on. it was all a rather fun time. haha! then about evening.. mostly everyone came and the barberque started. food was great! haha. thanks to david, roshen and pris. a lot of laughters and fun! then finally the cake! haha! sang the birthday song. happy birthday to ROOF! xDDD was really funny! then all of us wanted to toss ruth into the pool but she just made things difficult for us such that we cant toss her into the pool. haha! and was glad that she really loved the birthday present. haha! =D so at the end of the day, the people who went were: me, crystal, gloria, cheryl, olivia, david, sandra, kenneth ho, nathaniel, roshen and yan wei. what a great day!

then saturday.. maybe going out to study with wan ling would be a regular saturday program. haha. her sister managed to help us to book one of the study rooms at smu again. so went there to study with her with leon and jia hao. wasnt really productive actually. a lot of noise, a lot of talking and distraction and so on... hardly managed to do much work. oh well.. then at around the evening, rushed down to yio chu kang tennis centre to watch yan wei's finals. but he didnt play! he was on reserve... -.- what a waste of our time.. but at least me and roshen get to play a bit of pool. haha. crystal and gloria were playing david's computer. and at the end of the day, everyone played a bit of tennis. also went home quite late that day. so was also quite slack on that day. i'm getting interested in tennis~~

then comes sunday which is today! the actual day for ruth's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUTH! =D before the 10.30am service, went to the study corner at the void deck of the hdb flat opposite church to study. the place was not bad, just that i think it was too exposed. haha. a lot of passer-bys can actually see me. then at around 10am, went back to church to eat a bit before going into the sanctuary. same thing, hymns, congregational singing and message. then after service, had to wait for some of them who got combined choir rehearsal which ended at about 1pm plus which was quite late.. then ate at s11. i had my wan tan mee!! the big one! $3.20! woohoo! then will also be the last lunch before yan wei goes for his 3 weeks taiwan trip. then had a dilemma whether i should go back to church to study or go home instead. in the end, looking at the time, i decided to go home instead. sigh.. didnt study much at home as expected. then at night went to celebrate my grandmother's birthday! haha another birthday celebration! went to a hotel and had a buffet. food was great! love the smoked salmon and sashimi! woohoo! and was really full.. i felt like exploding! very satisfied..

and now.. i will be getting ready to sleep.. prelims results will be out from tomorrow onwards.. i think i did very badly.. well let's see what will happen.. 24 more days to o levels.. not much time left. going to mug with david for this whole week at the library! going to put all my effort in! i will do my best for the last lap of the race!

wow.. dont really have time to blog and all. so managed to just take this short time to just blog about something. well the september holidays now comes to a close. just one short week. time to continue with the prelim exams. sigh.. had quite some fun as well. studied with friends, hanged out with church friends and the outreach that just passed. it was all great! but now is back to serious work for another 2 months or so until the o levels end. just 38 more days to o levels!

had been putting a lot of effort into geography and i hope that my effort will show through my results. had practised a lot of maths and ready to take on the paper. then for chemistry, had been quite slack, had to just take up my notes and just read through and recap. possibly just memorise some of the very important stuffs. then physics is on friday. i had been receiving quite a lot of help from tuition! =) and i hope the results will show as well. have my concepts all cleared right and done. ready to go for the exam as well. i just hope that there would be improvements for this prelim.

had been playing a lot of piano as well for leisure. haha. still got a lot of songs to learn! =D just love the piano! my exam pieces were rather messed up cause i havent been practising them for a very long time. haha i guess i better go back to playing them and perfecting them. i feel that i have made improvements in my piano skills from the many other songs that i play. =D

woohoo.. mugged hard today.. firstly, it is teacher's day! happy birthday teachers! the program was a singing competition. some sang really well but others sang really bad..... the teachers were impressively good! xD and it all ended at around 10.30am. went back home first to get stuff, went to grandparent's house for lunch before going down to church to mug.

i went there to mug first before david came at about 4.30pm. then continued studying all the way to 6pm plus. then went to the sanctuary to play the grand piano! and practised some high school musical songs as well. haha. i just cant sing the accompaniment parts! argh!! i just need to practise more! man i really suck at this..

then went dinner and sandra just sat there to watch us eat as she refuses to buy food even though she havent eaten her dinner. the excuse was, i am broke. lol. went back to church to continue studying but was not as serious as the afternoon. only managed to do a little bit of geography. argh development! such a big topic! =( we met ruth as well and when yan wei came, we all left. david, yan wei and i went to macdonalds to have supper before we went home. really tired now..

another tough mugging session tomorrow as well! haha. this time at the macdonalds at shaw centre. =) plan to accomplish more work tomorrow! i must just have the same concentration and focus as today and it will be done. still considering whether should i go to chayadi's house tomorrow morning first. haha. want to play his grand piano as well! =) i really love grand pianos! they produce such bright and powerful sound! woohoo! rocks!

sigh.. dont have much time to blog these days.. prelims is just next tuesday and o levels is in about less than 2 months time! have to just put all my effort into it and i will be free!

today was the combine bp yf. i did not go cause i think it is too time consuming. 1pm to 7pm. can actually do A LOT of work during this duration. so i made sure that if i didnt go for it, i will spend all that time studying to make sure i did not just slack off. went to bugis to study with leon and wan ling. havent been studying with wan ling for a very long time already. haha. so at least did quite some work today. did 2 papers of A math, read notes for skills to answer social studies source based questions and made a summary for physics (laws, principles and formulas). so think i am quite happy with today. and had a bit of fun with them as well.. =) was at macdonalds the whole day! was surprised that they didnt chase us out. i only noticed that they didnt put up the sign to say no studying allowed there. rather strange cause every other macdonalds that i went would definitely have one. but we just tried to buy stuff once in a while just to make sure that they dont bug us.

i finally finished playing secret! love the song very much! one of the best songs i played. and i love the grand piano in church!!! argh!!! it is so cool! love the bright and wonderful sound of it!!!

argh!!! B3!!! chinese o levels.. is that good enough? many people are also getting B3 so that means i am in the average. haha. i actually expected to get C5 or something. didnt expected to get B3 at all! cause my chinese during prelim 1 was C5! LOL. i didnt expect that i can shoot up to a B grade. B3 somemore... now i just keep thinking that i might miss the A2 mark by just one or two points! argh!!! should i retake? i dont want to go through all the hard work again! it is really a waste of time! somemore my listening comprehension was poor, oral was only a merit. means that i got B3 cause my paper 1 and 2 was somehow strong i guess. so means if i take again, my paper 1 and 2 needs to be even better! how am i going to do that!!! i am seriously in a very tough dilemma now. what to do? what if i retake and still get a B3. all my time and effort will be wasted! argh why cant i just get a distinction so that i dont have to worry about this. sigh... i have to give the answer tomorrow already! gaah!!

tomorrow's the english o level oral as well. i cant afford to mess this up like how i did to my chinese oral. i will make sure that i have self confidence to face the teachers, and that they should not be the reason for my nervousness. i will also make sure that i will be able to read the passage smoothly with expression and not too fast. haha! for picture discussion i must try to be more developed with my answers. conversation, have to be more developed as well and do not rely on too much prompting. i will do my best! i am clear of what are my bad points! i will make sure i do not repeat them tomorrow! i hope to get a distinction for this as i have already scored a distinction for my english prelim oral. so with this encouragement, i know that i can do well for the o levels oral as well! i am ready to kill the exam and not let the exam kill me!

today was fun! went out the whole day and only able to do a bit of work.. haha. woke up at 9am and met yan wei at 10am. went to ang mo kio and sat at the macdonalds there. later we decided to go to the library and when we got there we were like oh crap! it's a public holiday! the library's not open! we walked for quite some distance and it was all for nothing. then there was a macdonalds across to road so we decided to settle in there. i did my work while yan wei was busy using his phone to access msn and the internet. lol! "this phone is so cool man!" he kept repeating this for the whole time. went to lunch at sumo house which is a japanese restaurant and they serve super cheap food! oh my goodness! can get a bowl of udon for about $3 only!! shishamo only $2 for 5 pieces! argh that place is crazy! you cant find any other place which is that cheap lor! then after lunch went to the arcade and played 3 rounds of the basketball game. haha it was really fun and our hands were aching badly. haha. after that went down to meet gloria and crystal before we head out to zion gardens. i was really surprised at how fast it took to reach zion gardens from ang mo kio! it only took like about 10 mins! =O

had a really fun time there as well! played games that david suggested. played the piano as well! really cool! played till about 5pm until the fellowship started. watched the ndp live at the roof top garden and managed to catch the F16 jets flying past. they were awesome! we even managed to catch a full rainbow today! 2 of them! hardly a sight able to be seen in singapore! =O and the sky was lovely red.. today we just amazing. played more games with the group after dinner at the clubhouse. that's about all for today lah. there's church service tomorrow! gonna meet up with them again! haha. love this group very much! i-dont-know-what-to-call-this-group! ^_^

movie and gloria's birthday

due to high demand for updates, i will finally update since i have lots to talk about today. well first with yesterday's outing. me, ruth, priscilla, nathaniel, crystal, roshen and huiling went to watch the dark night at ang mo kio hub. the movie was DAMN COOL LAH!! a lot of twist and turns and lots of action! love the cars which got wrecked at the end of the day. =( damn sad lah. the show didnt have a happy ending as well.. at some scenes the background music was amazing. it brought about the strong intense aura. very powerful indeed.. the joker was very good too! never seen a villain as good as he.

ok now for today's program. we planned a surprise birthday for gloria! it was a very last minute idea by olivia. so i went to spread it to the others and we all came up with big plans. had a lot of difficulty last night and ruth managed to came up with another plan to cover up. so contacted a lot of people to inform and was glad that almost every turned up today! and when the plan had to be executed, it was actually really funny and exciting. like we all had to pretend like nothing happened during lunch and all until we all reach back at church. then at lunch, me and ruth have to give a stupid excuse to leave the group and go and collect the cake and buy flowers for her. and at that time, the group was actually very close to us! they were at ntuc which was like within proximity of the place that we were. argh! was glad that we werent spotted. then went to take the bus to rush back to church and making sure that we were first to reach and get ready everything.

when we reached church, david, cheryl and kenneth were already there waiting for us. so we began making preparations. open up the cake, placed the candles and all. so when all arrived, nathaniel gave an idea to play a game called polar bear where everyone had to close their eyes. this was to make sure that gloria doesnt know what is going on around. then when the time was right, i went out with the cake trying to keep the candles up and ruth took a small piece of the cake and wipe it along gloria's neck and cheek. HAHA! and it was damn funny! then we all began to shout HAPPY BIRTHDAY and started singing. haha will never forget her reaction. then all the same kind of birthday routines, blow candles, cut cakes, take pictures. haha. still waiting for them. most likely will only get them tomorrow. credit to priscilla for the photos! =D

so the plan was a success! everyone was very happy especially the birthday girl who was caught totally off guard! haha. well she deserves it lah! this is what friends are for. share the love.. then didnt go for yf. haha. was playing piano and doing a bit of work. then after yf was over, just went down and played frisbee. then parents came and fetched me home.

YOUTH SUNDAY!!

yesterday was YOUTH SUNDAY!! once again i volunteered myself to do ushering! i am really glad that i can do something for the church and for God. so woke up at about 7.50am like usual.. yawn.. then first went to help out at the PA room for the chinese service at 8.30am. about 9.45am, went to the upper sanctuary to meet up with the ushering people. later found out that i'm doing ushering with huiling.. and most likely she is very mad at me cause a few things.. she keep saying that she feels VERY short when she stands beside me during the whole service. well honestly cant be help lah. sorry.. then now she never wants to stand beside me.. T_T

anyway, after the service, went out for fellowship tea. talked around and ate a little stuff. then somehow went back into the sanctuary and we had to wait for ruth and priscilla to finish their sign language test. so while waiting, cheryl, serene, huiling and i went to play the piano. was really fun playing the grand piano there. then a while later, yan wei and roshen arrived and soon we made our way to J8. the people with us are: kenneth, yan wei, roshen, cheryl, olivia, serene, huiling, ruth, priscilla. i hope i didnt left anyone out. xD went to macdonalds to find kenneth fong.. xD for reasons related to cheryl. LOL. then somehow, managed to get 3 tables around the other people from gardens. david, jonathan, eddie and kenneth. well it was really amusing. i mean like to see people moving out from one table. then a while later you see the people from the 2 tables going off as well! and the tables were all exactly around the other gang. woohoo! so it was like a really long group of us that stretched to about 4 tables! haha. had a lot of fun and laughter there! it seems like i am really getting attached to them! it feels like we are a family! =D

and so we all went back home after lunch. most of us cant really hang out on that day so yea.. but it was a great day! definitely look forward to the next outing and meeting! and hopefully two people that missed most of our outings, gloria and crystal, hope that in future that they will be able to join us and have fun together with us as well!

ok finally got something to blog about. haha. yesterday was a big day. went to church as usual for the 8.30am service. after that i went to the library to study with my classmate first. meet charmaine and megan there by surprise. LOL. then studied there till about 3 i think until the "gang" came. haha. it comprises of roshen, david, huiling, olivia, ruth and priscilla. played some word game and made quite some noise in the library. xD so "considerate".. haha. it was rather fun lah. a lot of fun and laughters!

so we rushed to the cinema to watch hancock. a really cool show! love it! really hilarious and action packed. i will strongly recommend anyone to watch it. so after the movie, found a corner just outside the library to play another board game! lol! this time is some pyramid board game which was rather interesting and different. always cool to try different things once in a while. haha. and so we ended the day with lots of fun! hope this will never stop and that we can do more of this next time!

woohoo! went for bowling today again and it was shiok! spinning the ball feels a lot better than hooking. haha. then straight balls are a bit too noob lah.. xD the spinned the ball a lot today. haha. rather accurate. balls starts from left to right, the it turns to the left and charge into the pins. the sound of the pins colliding each other is really satisfying. =D

also met my sec 3 chemistry teacher mdm lim at serangoon interchange! i was really surprised when she told me that she stays near me. somewhere behind nayang junior college. that is like just 1 bus stop away! haha. she really is the best chemistry teacher you can get man! truly a motherly teacher! =D

oops.. havent been blogging for quite some time. anyway, had my nus competition today. my very last one. for now i guess. first round 213 and second round 192. score dropped at second round sigh. so total was 405/600. still ok. i guess. made improvements. anyway, nus was never an easy competition. top archer i think scored 550+ really damn pro. but i think he is from NTU lah. quite old and have more experience. i was only about the 48th position. in the centre. was quite ok le.. we were actually the only secondary school there anyway.

then have a very strong craving for bowling!! argh!! i want to BOWL!!! never mind! this coming monday! woohoo!!!! then tuesday most likely badminton as well!! shiok ah! love these sports. then wednesday to friday will be going to malacca for golf trip. gonna play golf for like about 2 or 3 days straight.. going to be damn tiring. wah this whole week going to be spending a lot of time on sport activities. haha. love it!

just one more week of holiday and it's back to school. and that is going to be one more week early to o levels! argh!!

well was away from friday till today sunday. stayed at chayadi's house with leon, jia hao, jun khai, andre and sean. it was really fun! haha. played xbox 360 most of the time. i am starting to really love dmc 4. think going to get it. just need to ask my father and see if he agrees.. then the rest played doa and i wasnt really interested so i just sit aside and played with my laptop. also played halo 3 and forgotten a bit of how to play.. xD havent played for so long. suddenly come back and play sure get trashed one lor. but picked it up quite fast again.

yesterday went to SICC in the morning. went to the gym there. did pull-ups, lift weights and ran on the track-mill. just do these a bit only lah. then tried some of the machines there also. haha. first time actually xD SICC is really nice. first time i see a gold driving range that fires into one part of the golf course. so is something like there is no sealed up area for a driving range. people just launch their ball straight into the part of the course. quite cool.

--> first time that i see my msn contacts so blank! O_O

then on that saturday evening, everyone went to watch indiana jones except for me cause i already watched it. a bit sad lah. then i just stayed at macdonalds and do my work on my laptop. the wireless connection there is really horrible.. -.- then when we got back to the house, watched 300 spartans. leon keep rewinding the part where it goes "AND TONIGHT, WE DINE... IN HELL!!!" -.- damn lame sia he..

in the night i really feared a lot that the arms of legs of mr KARIM! will fly towards me. so i sort of used 1 or 2 pillows to make a fortress! muhahah! and in the morning, i found out that he didnt even hit me at all in the night.. phew.. cause i heard about stories that my friends like jia hao kanna the fist of fury before.. xD the air-con was damn cold as well! brr....

so ya that's about all. really had a fun time! wish we can do this again.. thanks a lot chayadi!

ok it has already been 1 day but anyway, i have finally turned 16! woohoo! the last year for secondary as well. looking at the age 16, makes me feel like i am entering jc really soon and that my o levels is nearing. it is really scary. but at 16, hopefully i will grow up to be more mature, patient and understanding.

so had a lot of birthday wishes. thanks everyone for them. i dont care if it is a wish personally to me, on friendster, a tag in my blog, i am really happy that you guys still make the effort. well in friendster, i got my primary school friend jia jun who actually wished me happy birthday. i was quite surprised that he would actually send me a greeting. really appreciate that. next was woody. didnt expect him to send me one as well cause we sort of did not keep in contact with each other much ever since after our tour about 1.5 years ago. wow time really flies.. then in school and class, got wishes from close friends and good friends. chayadi, leon, jia hao, sean, joseph. i think i missed out a few. cant remember. oops. then on msn, elroy too. haha. then outside school, audrey went crazy. "oh my goshhhhhh, happy belated birthday!!!!!! i didnt knewwwwww" haha. really exaggerating. at that time it was really funny. then wan ling and her sister actually dedicated a song for me.. o_O well for some who read this, you should know what it is about. then even called me and sing it to me.. LOL! really funny and diao.. but haha. still appreciate it for the effort and all those. =) wild sisters..

woohoo! finally got my macbook! really pleased with it and impressed. it is definitely a lot faster than my previous one even for a laptop. haha. cause my previous mac was quite an old one. about 2 years old now.. but still good. i love mac as it is very stable, no lags, virus-free and beautiful graphics. the new leopard operating system really gave mac a whole new look with many new features. however the macbook is really a bit heavy. haha. but it's fine. love the keyboard! very fine and smooth texture and the trackpad is great! everything is just simply perfect. battery can last up to 6 hours! so below is some screenshots that i took.

ok the results for prelim 1 is quite miserable... i was really shocked at my results. i really did not expect it to be so pathetic. sigh. where did my hard work went to? or maybe it was not even hard work at all.. the only few subjects that satisfied me are my physics, chemistry and biology. i managed to pass my physics and biology this time. woohoo! but for my physics, wasnt really just expecting a pass, was hoping for at least a C5. was very glad that i passed my biology! finally! =D then chemistry, my best subject, managed to score an A1 again and a rather high one. but still lose to a few people but it's ok.. i was rather ok with my maths as i didnt even practise much for it. english was still ok. the average C. haha. then chinese was really terrible. i wonder what's going to happen to my chinese O level. just less than 2 weeks more! ARGH! i have to really use the remaining days to pull up my socks for chinese! i must get a distinction or it's over..

i have to move on and work even harder..

woohoo! the past few days were fun. thursday played badminton for 3 hours! damn shiok! now i have muscle aches all over my body. argh.. but that's a good sign. haha. then yesterday went to watch iron man and it was cool! havent watch such a nice movie for a very long time! i give it 4.5 star! haha. some of the upcoming movies caught my attention as well. some are like indiana jones and kongfu panda. i cant believe there is actually a 4th indiana jones movie. the trilogy has been for 20 years! and who would have expected a 4th one to appear. i really want to go watch it. kongfu panda looks interesting and hilarious. haha. saw the trailer at the cinema before iron man started. the trailer was already able to make us laugh out of our seats. haha. i wonder what would happen when the whole film is being screened. haha. and it appears that ice age 3 is coming out too! THREE? LOL. never expected that too. surprised to have seen a trailer on the internet while browsing through youtube. haha. very interesting indeed. so that's about all. going to miss yf again.. T_T cause having family gathering later. missed yf a lot. and wanted to play frisbee on sunday evening and also cannot go for it because having family dinner for mother's day. sigh. but never mind. these gatherings come once in a while. however, frisbee and yf is a regular program! so nothing to worry about! =D

ok it has been a while since i blogged. cause was in the midst of the prelim exam period. really mugging very hard and hope to see some achievements and improvements in this exam. last paper is on thursday which is chinese. LOL. and the chinese o level exam is just a few more weeks away! ahh!! really been slacking for chinese. sigh. i must really tell myself to pick up that chinese book and start studying.. sigh. so tomorrow no school! woohoo! and friday and next monday too! SHIOK AH! but i think it's going to be quite boring at home.

planning to upgrade internet contract. apple macbooks are given out free if one subscribes to the 10Mbps connection. i am really eyeing for that one. haha. always wanted an apple laptop. haha. so my father agreed to it. and went to sign up yesterday online but something went wrong and we could not continue to subscription. so i think we have to go down to singtel hello shop one day. sigh. i just hope there will still be stock for the macbooks. i really want one of them! i dont really care if it is not a very powerful laptop but it is still of acceptable specifications. therefore i find it worth getting.

tomorrow's going to be a day of working chinese. i really hope i do so actually. maybe sleep until 10am? haha. then try to mug for the last exam. then thursday going for badminton at tanglin cc! missed playing badminton! really been a long time. cant wait to give my racket a good swing and smacks on thursday. friday most likely going out with classmates for movie. i think watching iron man at plaza singapura. really gonna be a slacking week. haha. think i am going to miss YF on sat AGAIN! sigh.. not been attending YF for like about a month or so.. =O then wanted to play frisbee on sunday but have mother's day dinner with family. so maybe i shall just join the YFers from floorball. haha. =)

ok i finally got all the photos of the concert and now have time to blog and upload them. actually it has been 10 days since the concert. haha. anyway, the concert was really amazing. the symphonic band was the best! this year there was also a drama club performance for the introduction of the concert and also the choir singing together with the band. it was really and memorable night!

drama club performance was still not bad. meng kei was on stage man! ahaha! xD cool! the chinese orchestra was not bad too. but can hear a bit of the tune not being in unison. but the songs were still great! there was also a combined performance by the band together with the chinese orchestra. that was awesome. the sound of 2 different kinds of orchestras playing together is just beautiful!

sigh.. i havent been online the past few days.. didnt blog the past few days cause my internet was down!! argh!! after about 1 day or so then i discovered that it was the power supply that was the problem. it really got me pissed off! running all around the house trying every powerpoint of the house. zzz.. really very sian.

finally got the power supply replaced and internet is back on running smoothly.. i really missed a lot of things to blog about. so i will be blogging about some stuffs like the concert that had just passed, the chueng cheng high (main) and chij st theresa's fun fair that i went to and all the complaints that me and my friends made about the schools being bigger than ours!! T_T i will be getting my concert pictures tomorrow so i will put them up tomorrow as well..

prelims are coming! argh! have to study really hard for it. hearing that prelim 1 was meant to kill, it just worries me even more. so far i still have geography, biology and social studies notes not done up to date yet! argh!! i am really going to die! so i guess i have to no choice but to use the computer to do speed notes which i hope will and SHOULD reduce the time taken to finish up my notes..

inter-school archery competition 2008

ok didnt really talk about my competition last friday yet so i am going to talk about it now! haha. well i was very excited about it as it was going to be my first competition that i will be shooting with my inno carbon and the distance was going to be 50m and 30m. i could not wait to go out there and do my best! while on the school bus on the way to zhenghua national range, i finally learnt how to solve the rubik's cube with the help of jerome! haha. now i have no problems at all completing. my fastest timing is 2mins now. must try to lower it. xD

when we arrived at the range, there were many schools. i was rather surprised at some of the schools that were there. the one that got my attention was ACS international. never seen them compete before so most likely archery has been set up there. other new schools are like cedar girls school, st theresa and even one guy from maris stella primary! LOL! so everyone set up their bow and about 1 hour later the competition started. i didnt really start off well as somehow with my correct sight, i still didnt hit much yellows.. must be my form. sigh.. wind was strong too, competitors around me are very good as well. damn the girls are good! at the end of the first round, my score was 221/360. quite lousy. but consider that this was my first time shooting 50m in a competition and that i didnt really practise much. i thought it was ok. but still poor. 2nd round we move to 30m and things get easier and lighter. however i was facing my same problem again, left hand not having enough strength to hold out my bow while anchoring and aiming. in the end, had a score of 265/360. for this one, it was really poor. i should have gotten at least a 300. i think the real problem that lies with me is really that i have no strength. =(

the team event was fun. however i lost my chance of competing. this is how it goes. each team must consist of 3 archers. in my club, we have 5 archers competing in the open category. 3 of them already formed one team. but my friend and i was left out. therefore my coach managed to put one guy from potong pasir cc into my team. however a while later we then discovered that his bow broke! SOMEHOW SOMEWHAT SOMEWHERE. i really have no idea how it even broke! =O crazy.. so with that, short of 1 archer. my friend and i cant compete in the team event. it was quite sad. cause if i had a team, there will only be 3 teams competing. and i know that the other 2 teams are very strong and we will have no chance against them. but even if we lose in the 1st round, we still can at least get a bronze but now we cant! argh!! what a great chance wasted!! T_T the other team from my school won 1st over the girls. haha. at least they didnt lose to girls otherwise their face is gone! xD

at the end of the day, my school won and brought back many medals. it was really an honour. after prize presentation, we took a group photo and it was really fun. haha. before we left, we shouted our cheer! TEAM MARIST!

napfa test

had my napfa test for 2.4km run today. i made improvements! last year was about 13 minutes plus. this time it is 12.44 minutes! woohoo! i know i can do better next time again! =) i actually ran the whole thing without stopping. i kept pushing myself and telling myself that the end is almost there. in the end, i made it! still got a lot of people who completely trashed me though. =P but it doesnt matter!

about 3 more days to inter-school archery competition! have not been training cause i dont have any membership to shoot outdoor yet. but will be having school training tomorrow but only at a very short distance. however, form remains exactly the same. the difference between all the different distance is just the change in sight. therefore i will just train my form tomorrow! make sure that it is very consistent and that i can shoot up to at least 72 arrows with consistency as well. if i can do this, then i will have no problem on friday. havent took part in an archery competition for a very long time and this is going to be the first one is a long time which is a major competition. i really want to make this good! for also having to skip school to participate. of course permission was granted. xD

still a busy week to look forward. really need to do a lot more work by this week. plan to finish these work by the end of this week:

--> catch up on school work missed on this coming friday

ok it has been quite a while since i have blogged from my last post. i hope everyone enjoyed the video. thanks for all the comments! i am now currently working on 2 songs and planning to video them again! for now, i have quite a lot of stuff to do.. very hectic. having inter-school archery competition on friday. got my sighting and practise at the outdoor range at SAJC on saturday and i thought my 50m was rather good. arrows flew straight and was quite consistent. must be my new bow too that helped me out a lot! inno carbon rocks! i can really feel the great performance outdoor! love my bow! so with that i feel quite prepared for my competition on friday. had to miss school for this as well so i hope to make this a good one!

going to have 3 tests tomorrow.. social studies.. geography.. A maths.. sigh. very stressed and tired. then still have arrows not fully fletched yet. also have napfa tomorrow. 2.4km run. i aim for around 12mins this time. i really want to do better!

apart from that.. felt really emo and sian... really being suaned very badly by school friends.. i am really sick of it. then recently also gotten teased by another friend.. sigh. i really want this to stop. getting very annoyed. this really sucks..

today is good friday! went to church in the morning.. went for chinese service first then english service. haha.. so was total was like about 4 hours? =P but i love it! worship was great! message was meaningful and very reflective.

about late afternoon, went to marina bay to play golf. start off at the driving range first then went to the course. just got a nike 5-wood! tried it out and was very satisfied with it! however, need to really practise a lot to make sure that every hit is consistent. usually i actually cant hit the ball. my club will usually come into contact with the top part of the ball and cause it to bounce.. -.- but if i managed to get a clean shot at the ball, it almost reached 200m!! woohoo! NIKE YEA! =)

so at the course was rather enjoyable today.. however there is one guy sort of like pushing us from the back as he was rather fast. another reason was that because he was playing alone and i was playing with my parents. so it is 1 V 3.. so it is not surprising the he is fast. handicap for 9 holes was 25.. =.= argh! it sucks! this was due to my first hole where i wasnt really warmed up and had a bad start. so i was like 5 over par! =O at the 6th hole, went to sand bunker and took about 4 shots to get the ball out! argh.. that was soooo bad! then the rest was ok. bogey.. double bogey.. but still overall ok! can be improved.. i will make sure i master using the 5-wood! so i can cover more distance! =D

my mother's birthday is just a few days away! i have already planned for a gift.. i really do hope that she will love it!

sigh.. it is just about 1 more day or so left to my music theory exam.. damn scared and nervous! dont know if i can pass this one.. in the previous exam, not a single candidate passed the grade 8 theory exam! even some of the best also fail.. i wonder is it really very hard or the marking became very strict. whatever the case.. i hope i can get over this once and for all! i feared that i have to retake this exam if i fail. argh! i dont want to do this all over again! i want to just finish this up and put my other concentration on my O levels! sigh.. this is going to be the first attempt and probably be the LAST one!

the march holidays are about to finish and i was like slacking most of the time and doing sort of very little work. last saturday afternoon and evening was spent at YF. also played captain's ball and frisbee. very fun as usual! =) then sunday spent sometime studying.. but couldnt really study cause my aunty came to my house. then monday, went for bowling with friends once again at hougang superbowl! played 7 games this time! xD i figured out that i think i can play well after 5 games.. xD so i guess i will just stop at 5 next time. at least on monday, i managed to gain more control over hooking and able to handle straight balls well. ^_^ alright.. but i need more speed! the ball is just too slow! =( then tuesday, went to chayadi's house in the morning. played halo 3, narutimate accel 2. also played captain's ball in the pool! haha.. too little people so it wasnt very fun.. =( later it rained and we all had to get out of the pool if not we may get sick.. then ate the yummy lunch at his house! haha. the char siew~~~ ^_^ the best! then one group went for movie at plaza singapura while a few others including me went for badminton at bishan! got a chance to play with my primary school friend there! oh man! he becamse damn pro lor! i cant even keep up with him. damn.. i am losing out.. T_T i must find another time to play with him properly again! i admit he really gotten so much better from the last time i played with him. no doubt badminton is his passion.

on wednesday, just went to study at the library the whole day with jin yong and nicholas liaw who went off at around early afternoon after lunch. sigh.. rained the whole day and it was rather cold. jin yong and i struggled a lot with A maths and he got quite pissed off and throw tantrum. sigh.. nothing to say about him.. -.- then today went for theory lesson and almost slept! xD really boring.. but this is going to be the second last lesson. so endured it through!

tomorrow going for lesson again.. sigh. then got training from 2 to 5... going to be damn worn out.. how to study later? -.- i will just try my best lah. not really looking forward to the last few days of the holiday however.. feel very sian. wish this stress and unhappiness can cease in me.. i really want to take it easy and dont get work up! =(

wow.. i really love my new bow! on friday, i sort of managed to improve my form! i made the right push and pull and not too use too much finger strength. used elbow to pull and release. even though i still shake but the shakings were reduced as the bow is able to absorb more shock and when released, the arrows just shoots out at light speed. very fast! feels so good! i want to perfect my form now and hopefully have a consistent shot everytime!

i finally got my win & win inno carbon! which costs a bomb.. lol. but it was worth! the bow was fast, smooth, nice, amazing. the handle was so well designed that it was very easy to identify the pressure point. the bow was also just slightly heavier or the same weight as my previous bow so i can handle it. i just have to start training! the bow was really impressively beautiful. the colour was dashing and very outstanding from the white portions. very striking and it looks cool! here are some of the photos that i have taken.

chinese new year eve!

i know the eve had already passed a few days ago but i will post about what happened on the eve now. well wore red to school. played PSP in class before morning assembly.. especially narutimate hero 2. haha. old system but still fun. =) then spend the whole time in the school hall. some performance from outside, followed by the chinese orchestra and lion dance performance. man they are damn good!

had a great laughing good time at the hall with sean and jin yong. haha. then played with the camera. talking our own stuff and all kinds of stuff. really fun! but cant wait for time to fly so that we can all leave the hall!

went to chayadi's house after school! the people who went are: me, teng wei, jared, jun khai, lawrence, ka shing and justin. there, some played Wii while some went to the other room and played narutimate accel 2! haha. trashed them and got trashed as well.. haha. then soon after, went to play badminton at bishan sports hall! met up with wan ling and jasmine there. this time we actually booked for 3 hours.. haha. since there was so many people. jin yong came after a while. so did chayadi's sister and friend who came about 2 hours later.. lol which is quite late.

then played for 3 hours.. really tiring. and i also just realised that i actually ate chili for lunch!! argh!! no wonder i felt very weak when i play and wasnt at my full potential! :( that sucks.. then couldnt smash properly.. sigh. but still played okok.. teng wei was good. chayadi also not bad but he just have some difficulty moving around. wan ling improved.. others were alright. looks like this time, i have new rivals.. great! =)

so then after, had reunion dinner with grandparents and my uncle. it was great! haha. great start to the chinese new year!! =) love it!

science practicals day

today was tiring. had 3 practicals in a day. first one was physics and experimented on the resistance of the voltmeter. was rather easy. swift work done. however, there were some technical error with the amount of resistance in the resistors used so we wasted kind of a lot of time.

next was chemistry. more chemicals and heating and shaking and all those. haha. today was testing for gases. so like there are times when people are producing poisonous gases! haha. sodium dioxide and chlorine gas. damn smelly. pungent smell. others were still ok. the test for carbon dioxide, the cool extinguishing of the lighted splint to show that hydrogen is formed, and hydrogen re-lighting a glowing splint. it was really cool! chemistry rocks!

finally it was biology. we are told to dissect a pig's eye today.. haha. was really gross but fun! haha. the eyeball was like small, jelly, a little sticky. the fats were so strong and had quite a hard time cutting it. after the fats were removed, it would really look like a fishball or a meatball. xD seriously.. but it was really fun just cutting it.

ok now just going to talk about badminton as i have promised everyone. haha. got the photos today! it was really fun. practised more smashes today. getting good at it. but somehow i have to be faster. just feel the need to swing the racket and hit faster. i also have to control my strength.

another boring but fun day..

today was boring in school.. lessons were kind of boring. chinese, not very interested. english, was still ok. maths, continuing trigonometry and that was still ok so i paid attention. then it was hall assembly. nothing much. main thing was house meeting. this year, decided to sign up for the 4X100m race. maybe i will just train a little.. haha. hope i wont let my team down. then it was physics.. sian.. felt like sleeping. but somehow i managed to endure the whole lesson without sleeping and understood the topic. haha.

today went for badminton at tanglin cc with wan ling, keith, jia hao, daniel, jin yong and his neighbour. wont talk much about it yet until i have the rest of the photos. =) but it was really fun. further perfected my smash. i just have to try to be much faster and more agile than my usual to match up with the pros.. watching competitions just give me so much inspiration. haha.

2 test tomorrow.. geography and A maths. must do well in both test!! xD MUST!!

yay! i found a junior in YF!!! really great to have another marist around now in church! =) he also said that he put archery as second choice! haha i really do hope he gets into archery! =) he is also one lucky guy.. he is going to get a apple macbook.. he is actually required to buy. all sec 1s are suppose to buy.. sigh. sec 1s so shiok now.. so then.. today. busy..

woke up kind of late today. then same thing, need go for theory and music lesson. SIAN! then went to grandparent's house to have lunch, then went to church to meet cheryl and went to the library to study with jin yong and meng kei. i managed to do finish the A maths homework except one question! haha. really dont know how to do that. then about 3.50pm, went back church for yf. today is small group launch and wet games! wet games was fun! the best was the one where everyone have to lie on the floor, the use their legs and feet to support the bucket of water! if the support is broke, the bucket will topple over and the all the water will spill out! haha! FUN! and nathaniel.. grrr... purposely bring the bucket and pour water on me. whole body wet. >.< ONE DAY!! he is going to get it! then after yf, played badminton and captain's ball. haha. fun as well!

so that's all today.. very overjoyed to have found a junior! hope to see him in school! =)

cca maze 2008

didnt have time to update on the cca maze last saturday so i will talk about it now! well reached school very early.. about 8am. and was shocked that some of my juniors are already there! enthu bunch.. -.- and so opened the door and started to set up the bow, get the strings and everything.. we waited for about more than half an hour as the reporting time was 8.30am. but still there was just a hand full of people.. sigh. I TOLD THEM NOT TO BE LATE!! sigh. many were late, i so want to kill them!!

went to look for mr chong to open the gate of the tennis court for us. however, somehow the key that was suppose to be able to open all the gates of the court, didnt work -_- it was a good think that i saw the master of all keys.. haha. and he helped to open all the gates. so yea.. really saved a lot of trouble. i also then found out that my teacher in charge, ms tan, was already at the archery room and told some of them to bring the stuff to the tennis court. it was a rather fast process. some of my friends helped to get the tables and chairs from the primary school canteen. was kind of tough i guess but it's their job!! haha. xD

i really had quite a tough time getting everyone to gather and settle down so that i can tell them their duties and what they are suppose to do. sigh.. had to keep shouting.. zzz jia hao helped me in getting everyone to shut up. melvin also sort of assisted me. -.- anyway, took about 20 minutes or more just to get all the admin stuff done. -_-" then about half an hour to one hour later.. the cca maze began! and all the sec 1s started to roam around the school. parents as well! our cca area was really packed with many sec 1s. most of this must be due to the mascots! haha! good job guys! then those at the Q&A table really did a good job as well! not forgetting the coachers and everyone else!

many of our seniors who have graduated came back! was kind of happy to see them again! haha. and suddenly about half way through the cca maze, our coach suddenly appeared!! O_O everyone was like giving faces of shock! =O even me! lol. really didnt expect him to come at all! seems like he really wants to check on us. whoops. xD anyway, have a special guest that came for our cca maze. actually not special lah.. lol. wan ling came and gave everyone a shock! lol. the past few days she kept repeating "dont say ar!" -.- lol. so yea.. jia hao some sort became her tour guide instead of being at the Q&A booth! JIA HAO!!! >.< haha just kidding. the day was really sun and was damn hot! standing under the hot sun for about 5 hours.. burnt to crisp..

so overall, the cca maze was a great success! i hope many sec 1s will put archery as their first choice and really do hope that the response will be wonderful!

school and class updates

ok.. it has been a week since school started.. everything just went fine! some changes in class.. teachers also change..

form: ms stephanie teo
english: mrs jaya
chinese: ms lam sok mun / mr chua tian san
maths: mr koh yew kiat
physics: mr kan kong keat
chemistry: ms jazilah
biology: ms stephanie teo
social studies: mr jeremy wong
geography: ms joanna lee

so only subjects that changed teachers are maths and chemistry. finally got a good maths teacher! so i am aiming to get A1 for both E maths and A maths this year and for O levels! for chemistry, i miss mdm lim.. T_T she was like one of the best teachers. but this year she didnt move up with us.. so ms jazilah took us. still a new teacher to us, so will see how things go. heard that she is a very good teacher. i just hope it is true.. and for chinese, mr chua will also be teaching us chinese together with ms lam. mr chua is rather entertaining, firm in his talking, fun! haha. quite interesting.. =) and finally our new form teacher.. ms teo. nothing much to say about this. haha. but i am giving any idea that she is bad. she is great! =) kind of going to enjoy this year! going to have the right mindset to study! i will make sure i do well for all my tests, exams, prelims and of course, the O levels! i am really aiming to achieve an A1 in all my subjects. maybe except english.. a B3 will be satisfying enough. i just have to put in effort and have the determination! and i will be able to achieve my goal!

next.. during assembly programs, our class get to sit on the upper level. haha! at least now we dont have to squeeze and suffocate ourselves in the packed hall.. we really feel very fortunate to have the privilege to sit up there. however, the view wasnt really good due to the handrails. but still, we all appreciate it.

the class sitting arrangement was also another change. at first when everyone came to school on the first day, we just sat at the places we like. however, after our form teacher worked and sorted out the sitting plan. i was positioned to sit at the back of the class alone! cause there was 31 students in the class.. which means that there is one odd student who have to sit alone. and who would have known that that odd student was me! oh man.. then everyone start "pitying" me.. call me emo and all that kind of stuff. haha. actually i wanted to sit alone, but not all the way at the back where it really feels damn sian.. well i know God place me here for a reason, so i just decided to try out this sitting position for a few more days. then i will see what i can do by letting the teacher know about my comments of my sitting position.

furthermore, an opportunity opened to me. one of our classmate was going to be transfered to another class due to the change in subject combination. thus, he left and now there was 30 students in the class. which makes it even.. and i was hoping that i could take his place right at the front of the class! haha. i really hoped that the teacher would allow me to sit there. i always preferred to sit in the front rather than the back.. everyone who always sits at the back will feel this way. so.. i really pray hard that i will be able to have a seat in the front, so that my concentration and focus can be 100%! pray hard!

finally, about my caa. i was appointed the chairman of the club! i felt really proud of it.. sigh.. that means that everyone is looking up to me.. i guess i really have to start taking every responsibility and be a role model to the secondary 1 students that are going to come in soon. also was put in charge of planning for the cca maze this saturday.. well actually all panning is done! duty roster done! advertisement done! plot of the place also done! i am ready to assign everyone and make the exhibition a successful one! let's pray hard for that too!

so yea.. all these new school and class updates.. the start of a new year! and the last year in my secondary school...

it's 1 JAN! the first day of 2008! happy new year everyone! woke up at around 10am today.. ahaha.. parents like keep dragging me out of bed. xD just ate breakfast, the read my book "Footprints For Teens" love the book really much! =) had lunch at a korean restaurant at novena square. food was ok.. haha. then left for plaza singapura by mrt to meet leon, jia hao, wan ling and her friend evangeline. a bit rushing.. lol. meet them at yoshinoya, played nintendo DS. some mario racing game. xD quite fun though. =P i beat leon a few times and he beat me a few times too. so deuce! =D

headed out to victoria concert hall to watch and support my classmate leslie's performaance. first took the mrt to city hall to meet jin yong and brenda. then walked to VCH. everyone kept complaining about the walking distance. haha. that walking from raffles place mrt is nearer than from city hall mrt. xD then went into VCH, bought the tickets, went in a while later.. just before the concert starts, keith, joseph, fabian, ren bin came. just in time! so yea.. the performance started and leslie really played amazingly well! i can never reach his standard! it is just too perfect! natural talent! so we were like all cheering for him! and shouting "ENCORE" at the end of the concert. haha. so much fun! hope the audience really dont mind =P

hello! finally back from chalet! haha had a lot of fun there.. but i missed YF and church.. sigh. stayed there for 3 days 2 nights..

first day, went out with keith, jia hao and wan ling to plaza singapura. played arcade, walked around, had wan tan mee at sunshine plaza.. lol didnt know there was such a place.. haha. but the wan tan mee was not bad.. the waitress was like rather clumsy. we already placed the order, then after a while came to us and say, " have you ordered?" -_-" one kind sia.. xD so left at around 3.10pm and reached pasir ris mrt at around 3.50pm and waited for my uncle, grandmother and cousin. we then took the shuttle bus service to aloha loyang resort.

played frisbee with my uncle and had a lot of fun.. finally was able to control my forward throw and others.. =) then my cousin joined in.. soon later, my aunty along with another 2 of my cousins arrived at the chalet and the fun started.. haha. time passed quickly the barberque started.. i helped a little in cooking the food.. =) also enjoyed the food.. satay... otah... chicken wing... SQUID!! ahaha!! xD

SQUID!! yummy... xD ok anyway, another of my cousin came later in the night as well, so we just all eat eat eat, played just a little frisbee.. nothing much. at about midnight, we played pictionary, charades and it was really fun! the acting and everything!! haha.. really funny at how people act. we are potential actors!! =D no lah.. just kidding. and at end of the day, slept at 3.30am!!!

the second day woke up at 10am.. cousin slept until like 12pm or so? lol -_-" had a really wonderful orchestra playing in the middle of the night -_-" my uncle's snores.. it was really funny!! ahaha. we all couldnt really sleep. sigh. i also wondered how i could sleep with all the noisy snores.. zzz. so next day, played about the same things.. then also played othello with my uncle and got trashed in the first game. but the second i was close behind by just 1.. lol then went arcade with cousins.. spent $20!! O_O it just felt like running water.. -.- came back and had a late lunch, carried on playing stuff.. in the evening went cycling. had a bit trouble with the smaller kids and they didnt know how to ride a bike. then seems like some of them dont have enough strength to ride. the bike just doesnt move.. lol. so we just left them with my aunty and they just cycle around the area near the bicycle shop. on the other, me and another 2 of my cousins cycled to far places.. haha. butt was really pain.. >.< and my left sandal keeps slipping off the left pedal >.< irritating.. couldnt cycle properly... had fun still! =)

ate barberque food again.. also played badminton after dinner this time.. the wind was very annoying as it kept giving the shuttlecock detours.. -_-" also learned how to play mahjong for the first time!! wasnt very difficult to learn so i kind of mastered the basics very quickly.. and played mahjong for about the whole night.. so slept at around 4am plus.. ahaha... sigh.. the next day, we would have to check out and leave the chalet T_T

so woke up at around 9am today.. *yawn* not much sleep.. but surprising, i could get up xD left at around 10.15am and somehow managed to get on the bus.. it was like 40mins early? O_O strange. then took mrt from pasir ris to city hall, the switch train to bishan.. there my parents pick me up and went to thomson plaza for lunch. then nothing much.. came home to rest..

in the evening, went to vivo city to have dinner with my relatives.. after dinner, had desserts at coffee club. then end of the day.. haha.. dont have much pictures.. but will upload them when i get them hopefully.. =) cya all. just 2 more days to 2008!!

woke up early in the morning at 7am.. *yawn* father dropped me at my grandparents' house. there, i just slacked.. then watch a bit of naruto with my cousins. also watch a kids show but the duck was really cute.. it really carried one of the best expressions around.. (like o_O O_o -_-) haha. it was rather funny.. then soon later, left house at 10.50am and reached church at around 11am. our meeting place.. when i reached there, saw kar wei and kevin playing badminton so joined in a little while later.. everyone soon came later on as well..

the girls took pastor victor tan's car to J8 while the guys, took a bus there! haha.. gentlemen.. =) at least the bus didnt take quite a long time to arrive so we were at J8 within minutes.. then made our way to the mrt and took it all the way to city hall. from there, took the underpass straight to marina square. however we need to walk quite a distance. had lunch at the food court at the top floor and had duck rice. the food really are not cheap around the city... cant really find a $3 meal. one funny thing that happened today. cheryl and jia min were going to buy their food. cheryl was talking and accidentally knocked into a table and someone was eating. you can even see that the soup was like going to spill over. of course cheryl appologised and went she turn around forward, she didnt notice the step in front in time and then fell over.. lol.. i can just keep laughing everytime i say this. ahaha.. xD sorry cheryl.... xD ROFL!! haha. chatted around with kevin, cheryl, su lin and jia min. then we finally moved out! to the bowling alley!

wasnt a lot of people when we reached there, however we heard that there was going to be an event and so we could only play like the most 2 games. sigh.. which was actually very little considering the number of people playing which is 13. O_O well, used a 11 pound ball and cant really handle it during the second game. xD until about the 8th frame of the second game, i was able to use a 9 pound and i started hooking and scoring!! sigh if i could use the 9 pound ball from the start, i could have beaten kar wei!! xD haha.. but it was really fun.. everyone together.. playing.. laughing.. it was just great!

some planned to go lan while some will return to bishan. however, in the mrt, being it extremely crowded, we were split up and so in the end, only me, cheryl and jia min dropped at bishan. we couldnt find the rest. then i found from kevin that everyone alighted at dhoby ghaut. -_-" so the 3 of us just walked around all the way up to the top floor. then jia min said that she had to go back down to B2. haha.. from there we said bye...

then cheryl and i went to popular.. she needed to buy some stuff for some stuff. haha. xD then went over to precious moment looking for christmas cards but couldnt find those in a stack which are also cheap. left the shop and entered the christian bookshop. saw the bookmarks which were very nice!! and didnt know that they are just $1. lol. i am going to buy them! haha. olivia then finally arrived and we went to buy her formal dressing.. lol. first went to BHG, then decided to go to this fashion instead. there, we were all laughing over the joke. "LISTEN CAREFULLY, how many meh-meh (sheeps) jumped over the wall" -_-" in the end i still figured it out. haha. i was like standing around, waiting for olivia to choose the clothes. i didnt expect them to even ask me to choose for them! O_O lol.. anyway in the end, of course bought the stuffs. went back to J8 and bought a pair of shoe from bata. olivia keeps complaining that she doesnt want high-heels. scared fall.. -_-" then after a lot of convincing, she finally bought a pair of shoes.. -_-"

after everything was bought, went to cheryl's house. felt very weird.. lol.. watched ratatouille.. AGAIN. lol.. but is nice lah.. haha. paused halfway to have dinner. and really had a lot of fun talking.. cheryl just cant stop laughing o_O then after dinner, went over to church to help their mom with some work. but it was just some sticking of names on the letters that were going to be distributed out.. went back to their house as i left my bag there. continued watching ratatouille. also just watched some cantonese show and i had to read the subtitles.. lol -_- then nothing much later, went home at around 11.30pm.. haha. cant believe i actually stayed at my friend's house until so late.. but anyway, my grandparent's house was just 1 block away so was rather convenient. then went to sleep after i bathed and wash up. was really tired from the big day! but it was really one of the best! =)

haha.. went bowling again.. left early and meet up with jin yong first. wan ling was taking her N levels result and was over the moon.. haha.. congrats to her.. so played bowling again.. finally got the hang of hooking. i thought that as long as i release my thumb before i release the ball, the ball will hook. alright!! haha.. now i just have to perfect hooking.. =) so nothing much then, went arcade but didnt really play. as i am not the kind who play arcade. haha. then went out for dinner at yoshinoya. rice was rather dry as usual.. lol. bought an ice lemon tea but turned out to be grape soda.. O_O so tomorrow going bowling AGAIN! =) but at marina square. had to travel a great distance. but this time with YFers.. =) so that's all!

ok today, piano lesson was cancelled so only needed to go for music theory lesson.. sigh.. i would rather go for piano lesson. doing theory work is so sian and really can make your head explode.. sigh.. chords lah.. keys lah.. modulation.. raise 7th note.. ARGH!!! so sian!! i want to finish my grade 8 quickly!!! anyway, so time to meet wan ling and jin yong to 12.15pm. however, wan ling came at like about 12.45pm -_-"

so ate ban mian.. haha.. in the end. actually was a bit hesitating to eat ban mian cause already ate yesterday. well, due to the temptation of the vegetables, ikan bilis, and soup! i went to eat it. haha. so after that, went straight to bishan sports hall. we just waited for a while before we started to play. jin yong's friend carol came shortly after and we began our warm up matches. 2 on 2 that is.. so yea.. i was a bit sluggish and inflexible at the start, so i forced myself to get high. then after a while, played a 1 on 1 match with carol and it was damn shiok. haha.. no offense to the others whom i played with.. =) she was very fast in her reaction and knows how to counter almost every of my shots. and today i managed to get the hang of smashing.. woohoo! it was damn shiok. it was like, the shuttle above me, i stretch out my out towards the shuttlecock to absorb more energy to my arms, then i swing my wrist 360 degrees and smash it down. it was like so fast..! woohoo! getting the hang of it. not just need to perfect it. =)

ok then after, went to J8 and walked around, in the end we ended up in the arcade.. -_-" it was those 2 who dragged me in.. zzz.. ok then played silent hill. that's all haha. then went to another arcade around outside J8 and play those drum games.. you know.. yea.. so had chicken rice for dinner then walked around again. so actually had quite a lot of fun today! =) well wan ling taking back her N levels result on tuesday and hope she passes.. well pray for her for that, and if she pass, most likely will go celebrate by playing bowling! haha.. ok.. and the people who went to YF camp are back.. so sad that i missed everything.. but no problem.. there is always next year.. sigh.. ok just wait after O levels. alright then, signing off.. ^_^
